Bus services in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is made up of four modern, purpose-built resorts: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, all of them connected with frequent shuttle buses in the winter. There are also regular funicular and bus links with the nearest large town, Bourg Saint Maurice.
There are free shuttle buses connecting Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000. They run every day from 07:00 to 21:25, with night buses until 22:00 on Saturdays.

Plan Peisey and Vallandry are serviced by a free shuttle bus service which runs every 30 minutes from around 08:30 to around 23:30. There are also free bus services from Peisey-Vallandry to the cross-country ski area at Nancroix.
Landry train station is connected to Peisey-Vallandry via daily buses. You'll need to pay for this service – tickets can be bought at the train station or the tourist office. This service starts at around 08:00 until around 18:15 with increased frequencies on Saturdays.

Airport bus services to Bourg Saint Maurice
Below is information on getting to Bourg St Maurice from the airport if you haven't booked a transfer in advance. Please note, we advise that you book transfers to Les Arcs from the airport directly to resort before your holiday starts.

The closest bus station to Les Arcs is in Bourg Saint Maurice, the town at the bottom of the mountain, which is also where you'll arrive if you're coming by train.
Bus services from the airports and national lines stop at Bourg Saint Maurice, from where you can get the funicular or a shuttle bus to your final Les Arcs village destination (see above).

Bourg Saint Maurice to Les Arcs
Les Arcs funicular services
The mainline train station for Les Arcs is in Bourg St Maurice and from there is a funicular railway goes up to Arc 1600, taking only seven minutes to reach the ski area.
The funicular runs every 20 minutes during the winter, starting around 07:30 until 20:00 (and 21:00 on Saturdays). In the summer, the funicular runs every 30 minutes from 08:30 to 19:30.
If you already have your ski passes you can travel for free, otherwise there is a fee for a single/return ticket. The funicular is free for children under the age of five accompanied by an adult.
